By default, the iPig client (normally called only iPig) connects to the secure Internet gateway provided by us. On the gateway your traffic is decrypted and routed into the Internet.
If you have a PC with a permanent Internet connection or even a dedicated server (Windows OS), you can set up your own iPig secure Internet Gateway. In order to do this you simply install the iPig server software on your server, and create a user account for yourself and for anybody else (colleagues, friends, family) that you want to provide a secure connection.
On the client side, you only need to the following:

Open iPig
2.
Go to "Advanced Settings"
3.
Replace the "ipig.iopus.com" URL with the IP address of your iPig server.
4.
Save settings, stop & start the iPig traffic encryption
5.
Done
iPig connects now (only) to your iPig server.
